1. What This Service Is

The Skandhas Insight to Action Coaching Companion is an AI-powered between-session coaching tool designed to support professional and leadership development. It is grounded in the Skandhas coaching methodology and approach, developed by Miguel Noguerol, ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC).

This companion is intended to complement, not replace, your professional coaching relationship with a qualified coach.

2. What This Service Is Not

The Skandhas Insight to Action Coaching Companion is not:

  • Therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment

  • Medical, legal, or financial advice

  • A licensed professional service of any kind

  • A substitute for working with a qualified human coach, therapist, or advisor

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or crisis service immediately.

3. AI Disclosure

This service is powered by artificial intelligence. Specifically:

  • Coaching conversations are generated by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic (anthropic.com)

  • You are interacting with an AI system, not a human coach

  • Session content is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Skandhas does not store session transcripts on its own servers

  • AI responses are probabilistic and may vary. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation

  • Miguel Noguerol, MCC does not review individual sessions in real time

By using this service you acknowledge that you are interacting with an AI system and understand its limitations.

4. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Any decisions, actions, or choices you make as a result of using this service

  • Verifying any information or insights generated during your sessions before acting on them

  • Determining whether this service is appropriate for your specific situation

  • Your own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing during and after sessions

Skandhas Center of Leadership and Coaching for Change and Miguel Noguerol, MCC accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated coaching conversations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Skandhas Center of Leadership and Coaching for Change and Miguel Noguerol, MCC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Your use of this service is entirely at your own risk.

6. Eligibility

By using this service you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

  • Your use of this service does not violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction

7. Subscription and Billing

Free trial and paid subscription terms are managed through Squarespace and Stripe. Subscription fees are billed as described at the time of signup. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Skandhas does not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

8. Privacy and Data

  • Your email address and account information are managed by Squarespace. Please review Squarespace's Privacy Policy at squarespace.com/privacy for details.

  • Session content is processed via the Anthropic API. Anthropic does not use API data for model training, and API data is automatically deleted after 7 days. Skandhas does not store session transcripts on its own servers.

  • Skandhas does not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

  • For EU and UK users: Anthropic supports GDPR compliance for API customers through Standard Contractual Clauses. Anthropic is a US-based provider and data is processed in the United States. For full details on Anthropic's data handling see anthropic.com/privacy.

  • To exercise any data rights (access, deletion, portability) contact us at mnoguerol@skandhas.com and we will coordinate with the relevant processors on your behalf.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email where possible.
